Peachy! 🍑

Brief History about Peachy! 🍑

So the love affair began on the 9th of July 2021.Here I was not knowing what to do after my previous server had been terminated by discord along with my old account. Getting a 3,5k server deleted without notice was quite hard to deal with. To be frank with you, I did consider leaving Discord altogether. However the support I got from members from my previous server (Project X) helped me through the pain. So it was quite clear now what was going to happen next. We needed a new server.

Getting a 3.5k server deleted was quite demotivating. I was lazy to start anew. That happened to be my biggest mistake. I then contemplated this for a long time. I weighed up the risk to reward ratio and it wasn't worth it. There were more risks to rewards. Since I was lazy, I went ahead with it.

The risks were that, I'd get caught and my account gets disabled again (sigh, pain) or I wouldn't find it for the right price, or I wouldn't find the right one. The one that happened to be my worst fear happened to occur; that I'd get scammed, (insert crying emoji). So after much debate in my mind, I decided to go ahead and do it. I was going to buy a server. After much hunting, I found good server with enough members to get me satisfied. However the stumbling block was that the owner wanted an exorbitant sum of money for it. Back to server hunting again. I happened to find a 10k members server and the owner wanted the exact amount that I was going to offer him. I couldn't believe my luck! Little did I know I didn't have luck at all. So negotiations began. The seller wanted money then he would transfer first. I wanted the opposite. After much deliberation, i proposed a compromise; i pay half price upfront, he transfers ownership, i pay the other half after transfer. Seller wouldn.t budge. Sadly im the one who did. I paid seller full amount and the seller had just pulled off a successful scam. Realising I had been scammed, I tried to retrieve the money however it was in vain. Although I regret making that decision, it was a blessing in disguise for two reasons.

First, it taught me that being lazy doesn't pay and secondly had I bought that server, I wouldn't had truly appreciated it because it wasn't made by me. So my friend Wix helped me with making Peachy! 🍑 and today its the best server ever!
